HDPE Trenchless Pipe

Trenchless Installation

Traditional piping systems are installed in open-cut methods, causing traffic and environmental disruptions. HDPE can be installed using this traditional excavation method or using environmentally friendly trenchless technology.

For trenchless installations, a horizontally oriented machine drills a continuous hole in the ground. When the drill bit reaches the end of the hole, the pipe is connected and pulled back through the hole.

The flexibility of HDPE combined with its excellent tensile strength and abrasion resistance make it the first and proven choice for trenchless installation technology.

HDPE pipes can be installed under creeks, rivers, lakes, roads or rights of way using trenchless technology to minimize interference to the environment and the public.

Compared to non-plastic pipes installed using excavation methods, non-leak HDPE systems installed using less invasive trenchless technology are more cost-effective.

High-density polyethylene pipe (HDPE) is a thermoplastic pipe made of materials that can be melted and reshaped. It is strong, flexible and durable. It has excellent chemical and environmental stress cracking resistance.

Compared to existing infrastructure, such as ductile iron, concrete or PVC, HDPE seems to be a new product. The outstanding physical and performance advantages of HDPE pipe make it the perfect choice for your piping system.
